ADP UPDATES

Fourth ADP Advisory Group Meeting, 3-4 March 2015

The fourth (second in-person) meeting of the ADP Advisory Group was held in Bangkok on 3-4 March 2015. The meeting provided an opportunity for ADP project Partners to report on progress and key achievements for each of the ADP Pathways in the focus countries; whereas the Advisory Group provided regional and global perspectives and informed ADP project partners about recent developments in TB, malaria and NTDs; as well as relevant updates relating to drug development, post-2015 development agenda and global disease programmes.

There was substantial discussion on the ADP Theory of Change, with the Advisory Group providing valuable guidance on clarifying the scope of the project. These discussions provided the basis for prioritization of Year 3 activities for the ADP, which include strengthening linkages between ADP Pathways, continued support for the institutionalization of in-country decision-making processes and developing and implementing a strategy for dissemination and utilization of ADP knowledge products.
