MalaClim is a climate-informed health initiative that integrates meteorological data with malaria case records to explore links between climate variability and vector-borne disease, aiming to develop an early warning system in Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands.⁶⁰ Applying an IR lens can support efforts to scale and adapt the initiative by identifying implementation bottlenecks, assessing feasibility across diverse settings and strengthening stakeholder collaboration.¹³ Tools such as concept mapping can help explore contextual factors influencing uptake, identify enabling and constraining conditions, and generate evidence on what drives the success or failure of climate-sensitive interventions in different environments.⁶¹
