The guideline document provides detailed guidance on standard processes for the implementation of Health Technology Assessment (HTA), from research prioritization, to assessment and appraisal of technologies, to decision-making on policy recommendations. The aim of the guidelines is to ensure the consistency of assessment and appraisal approaches that will provide a more scientifically rigorous and transparent HTA process.
