African Union (AU) Model Law on Medical Products Regulation

The ADP supported the development of this Model Law to provide guidance to Member States of the African Union in strengthening regulatory systems that will accelerate access to the needed safe, efficacious and quality medicines for the treatment of priority diseases. The Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union adopted the Model Law in January 2016 in recognition of the need to promote and protect the public health of Africa�s citizens.
