Research article: economic evaluation of policy options for dialysis in end-stage renal disease patients under UHC coverage in Indonesia
07 September 2017End-stage renal disease (ESRD) is a growing non-communicable disease in Indonesia. In the context of Universal Health Coverage, appropriate policies will need to be in place to ensure the financial sustainability of the public provision of treatment of ESRD. This study published in PLOS one utilised the Health Technology Assessment approach to compare cost-effectiveness and health benefits between two different treatment approaches: haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
