Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Guideline| Indonesian HTA Committee Ministry of Health, Indonesia

17 December 2017

As Indonesia accelerates its progress towards UHC, there is a need for evidence-based priority-setting and rationalization of limited resources to ensure maximum health impact. The ADP supported Indonesia in establishing and institutionalizing Health Technology Assessment, which is a systematic evaluation of the medical, economic, social and ethical implications of development, diffusion and use of new health technologies. This document provides detailed guidance on conducting HTA in the Indonesian setting, with the aim of building the capacity of all stakeholders responsible for the selection and prioritization of health technologies.
